Bush Allocates Over $90 Million to Fight meth drug rehab malibu Abuse
The Administration supports many of these coalitions by providing $90 million in the FY 2008 Budget through the addiction medicine malibu Communities (DFC) program. This program aims to mobilize key sectors of the community to work together toward a common goal of reducing youth substance use.
Each coalition funded through the DFC program identifies local problems and works with local leaders to develop and implement solutions unique to the problems identified in each community. As part of the qualification for DFC funding, each community must provide a dollar-for-dollar match to the $100,000/ year in Federal funds provided through DFC. This community-level commitment to alcohol drug rehab malibu helps ensure sustainability of local prevention programming far beyond the 5-year Federal funding cycle.
As the result of an increase in community-wide environmental activities and changes within DFC communities, successful coalitions may now qualify to mentor new and emerging community groups to help them replicate the successes seen by existing DFC communities in youth alcohol drug treatment malibu.
